- Sharing the runway
- Now that Autumn has arrived, we're sharing with the Youth fleets on Saturdays so please remember how big and loud we appear to them on the water
- Please also remember to return trolleys to your spaces on Saturdays and Wednesdays to leave space for Youth fleets and Yard team
- Thanks to most for launching under jib and helping launching boats out their trolleys away to speed the process - please keep it up
- Waszps and other fleet captains news
- I learned that some younger Waszp sailors (their ages range from 14-82!) are keen to get more race experience and believe that crewing in our fleet is the best way to do it - so look out for some keen crews from next year (Monday evenings?). There is also a loan Waszp coming to the club for a couple of months for anyone to try out
- The club is looking for more members to train/ make themselves available as judges/ protest committee members/ arbitrators, race officials and/ or mark layers. Let the Sailing Office or Sailing Committee know if interested
- The Harbour Master is keen to hear about incidents on the water in real time so that he can take corrective actions such as intercepting wrongdoers, direct cameras, look at radar etc.
- IP Regatta
- A reminder to express your interest in next year's IP Poole Regatta (23-25 May) where we hope to have races in the Bay Taking Part – Poole Regatta
- Fleet AGM
- Another reminder - this time for the fleet AGM that will take place on Saturday 6th December upstairs starting at 4.30pm (slipped from 4pm previously advertised due to the club slipping in another event). Let Mervyn or John know if you have anything to add to the agenda
