Parkstone Yacht Club is an RYA recognized Training Centre and as such we follow strict guidelines on safety and operating standards.
Paul Jennings is the Principal of the Training Centre,
David Reed is the Chief Powerboat Instructor.
Our courses are all run by appropriately RYA qualified Instructors, the vast majority of whom are members of the club.
For sailing courses, the club has fleets of Fevas, Optimists, Fusions and Toppers all available for use.
For powerboat courses, we can call upon the club's fleet of safety craft: 10 Ribs, 3 Nelsons and 4 Jennies as required.
For the times when we need an indoor space, we have 2 dedicated training rooms, fitted out with screens and/or whiteboards. The club also has a galley that serves hot food, and good sized changing rooms with underfloor heating and hot showers.
