The fleet just becomes more and more creative - yesterday's weather inspired haikus from Graham D and John K respectively:
Sun, rain, chill, ebb,calm,
Nine boats hopefully drift out
No race, paddle home
Wind Gods teasing us,
Seeking their gift we paddle,
But find a rainbow.
And in response, one from Frances...
Rain no wind. Sad crew
Clubhouse warm and dry
Stayed ashore. Race stopped
Feeling not so daft
Plus one from Patrick and one from Mike B
Shoulder slow to heal,
Office window shows a rainbow
No leaves sway...I smugly grin
Three out of four said "no",
But one said "let's go".
So two got on the move,
And three hooters Fi blew
