RS Youth


The Parkstone RS Youth fleet includes both the RS Feva and the RS200. The RS Feva is a world leading double-handed dinghy. It offers a modern skill set in terms of the asymetric spinnaker, which allows easier progression to skiff style dinghies. With a huge international race circuit, the RS Feva is the perfect small boat for developing sailing and racing skills aswell as providing lots of fun.

The RS200 has a large adult fleet at Parkstone and this youth fleets enables the younger sailors to start racing the RS200 in a small fleet.

The Fleet

The RS Feva fleet was new to Parkstone in 2016. Some of the early Feva sailors are now racing RS200s and the 2 boats are raced on the same course on Sunday mornings during the summer months (April-September) and change over to Saturday afternoons for the winter series (October-December). 
We are a very friendly, welcoming and sociable, fleet and encourage any prospective young RS Feva  or RS200 sailors to come along and give the boats a try.

We currently have 4 club RS Fevas that are available to hire, these are bookable by club members via MCA

Timings

Sunday racing is between April and September and we aim to brief at 09:30am so be rigged and changed for then.

Friday sailing starts at 6pm so ready rigged and changed for then.
