What to expect...

In June 2025, Jazz Turner made sailing history when she became the first wheelchair user to sail solo, non-stop and unassisted around the UK and Ireland. Her extraordinary voyage, aboard her specially adapted yacht Fear, was the culmination of months of preparation, determination and an unwavering belief in what was possible.

Living with a serious, life-limiting condition, Jazz has refused to allow disability to define her ambitions. An accomplished international para-sailor and winner of the prestigious 2025 Yachtsman of the Year award, she has become an inspiration both within the sailing community and far beyond it.

Join us as Jazz shares the story behind Project FEAR - Face Everything And Rise. From the challenges of preparing for a solo voyage to the highs and lows of life at sea, she'll talk about the obstacles she faced, the lessons she learned and the determination that kept her going.

Whether you're an experienced sailor, a young person dreaming of your own adventures, or simply someone who enjoys an extraordinary human story, this promises to be a fascinating and uplifting afternoon.
